Claudia Flores Pereira earned an M. A. in Language Acquisition from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a Specialization in Advanced Studies in English Language from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and a B.A. in Painting from UFRGS. She has a certificate in Translation from Brasillis (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and in Basic Conference Interpretation from Versão Brasileira (Paraná, Brazil). She specializes in academic translation in the areas of social sciences and humanities and has published several translations in journals and magazines. Currently, she is also a volunteer translator in the non-profit organization Translators without Borders.
