Portuguese<>English certified translator and conference interpreter with a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature (1999) and master’s degree in Translation Studies (field of knowledge: Comparative Literature) in 2002 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, I have been working for 20 years as a translator and for 16 years as a conference interpreter. I took a graduate course in Translation Studies at Universitat de Barcelona in 2005, and I am certified by the University of Cambridge – English Proficiency Certificate. On February 2012, I took an upgrade course at Frances King School of English, in London. In February 2014 I took a one-month course on Medical Terminology for Translators and Interpreters, at the South Thames College, London. Accredited by ABRATES (FIT member).
